King Kong Ride coming to Universal Orlando in 2016!

Skull Island: Reign of Kong, is coming too Islands of Adventure in 2016 and is shaping up to be to be one of Universal Orlando’s largest attraction to date.   Guest will experience first hand the world of King Kong via an immersive journey like none other.  Ancient caves, hostile natives, and dangerous jungle creatures are just a few of the immersive experiences visitors will encounter on this epic new ride.

Comcast first made mention of the ride during an earnings call back in February, but this is the first time the park has made it public – and comes ahead of a scheduled release of Universal’s latest King Kong movie, “Skull Island,” slated to hit theaters in 2017.

Guests will enter an oversized 72 seat truck – the largest vehicle ever created for this type of attraction by Universal, followed by a multi-faceted trip into the depths of Kong’s jungle via a 70 ft tall wall! Skull Island: Reign of Kong is setting up to be one of the longest rides ever created at Islands of Adventure.  Skull Island: Reign is Kong is slated to open at Universal’s Islands of Adventure summer 2016.  We will keep you updated as new developments are released!
